Every job search starts with a resume. And no matter if you’re new to the job market or an old pro, writing a great resume can be a challenge. Job Smart U is offering help through a free seminar, “Resume 101” on Thursday, July 22, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the lower level of the Fond du Lac Public Library.

Presenter Richard Majewski will discuss general principles of resume writing, what should be included and how to write about skills and experiences in a way that will appeal to employers. He’ll also provide tips for first resumes and resumes for a career change, as well as some general job search strategies.
